Considered one of Ponta Delgada’s oldest jewelry and goldsmiths, Ourivesaria Rubi dates back to 12 and April 1958 by the hand of the same family that maintains it to this day. At the time, it made a difference due to its architectural lines and the unprecedented initiative of submitting its name to a public referendum, adopting the most voted, Ourivesaria Rubi, which it maintains.
Located on Rua António José de Almeida, one of the main arteries of Ponta Delgada downtown, currently pedestrianized, it is an important reference for the traditional commerce of this city, having already been the object of public recognition by Ponta Delgada’s Municipality.
It’s dedicated to trading gold and silver articles and watches, combining contemporaneity with tradition and quality, not forgetting the very rich cultural heritage of our country.
